The books in the Jewish Medical Ethics series contain articles which originally appeared in the academic journal Assia-Jewish Medical Ethics published by the Schlesinger Institute.
The first book includes a preface by Prof. Elon "Medicine, Halacha, and Law: The Values of a Jewish and Democratic State" and is divided into four parts: Jewish Medical Ethics, Genetics, Mental Health, and Organ Donation and Transplantation. 496 pp., Hard cover, 2004.
