Seminar days are held for secondary school students, introducing them to top medical professionals and Rabbis in the field of medical ethics and halacha. These seminar days occasionally run as supplementary courses throughout the academic year.
Tours of the hospital are provided in Hebrew and in English enabling students to appreciate the exclusivity of Shaare Zedek hospital, a hospital that is halachically oriented.
The Schlesinger Institute offers seminars for schools. These seminars present curriculum on various medical halachic topics and take place all over Israel during the school year. They are based on a learning project with supervised study for school groups. Each project concludes with a comprehensive research paper written by the pupils. As part of the project, the Schlesinger Institute participates in scholarly, Torah conferences dealing with the influence of science and technology on the every day life of Torah observant Jews. These conferences take place under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Sport, the Guidance Center for School Computer Applications.
